As someone who gets annoyed at apostrophe abuse, I could tell this would be a book for me. I know it's been out for ages, but I've not got round to it. Another book borrowed from my sister, but I've returned the last one. It's a jolly romp through English punctuation, bemoaning the lack of attention people give it these days. I think I'm reasonably good on commas and apostrophes, but I'm still not confident about colons and semicolons. It's a good thing I don't write for a living. It's nicely written and enjoyable to read, but is not meant to be used as a puncuation guide.
